Robert Tessmer Jr. is the broker-owner of Coldwell Banker Investors Realty, serving Citrus County and Florida’s Nature Coast. His roots in local real estate run deeper than most. Almost century ago, his great-grandfather established the first title company in the county. In 1979, Robert’s parents opened the brokerage he leads today, continuing a family tradition that spans four generations.

Robert joined the industry in 2002 after earning a degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Central Florida. He took over the family firm in 2021, running the business alongside his wife, Jen, who serves as the co-owner and property manager. This long-standing connection to the community gives him a level of market insight and transactional knowledge that is difficult to replicate.

His experience covers the full spectrum of the market, from waterfront and golf course homes to land development and new construction. However, Robert’s approach is defined by a philosophy that many in the industry overlook: focus entirely on the customer’s best interest, and the business side will take care of itself. He is known for being a straight shooter who isn't afraid to tell a client when a decision might not be in their best interest. This honesty, paired with steady communication and a reputation for being easy to work with, has made him a trusted fixture in the local market.

When he isn't navigating complex transactions, Robert is likely on the golf course. While he claims he hasn't mastered the game yet, he enjoys the time spent outdoors with friends. He is also a regular presence at his office in Inverness, working to assist the other Realtors in the office, and stays busy supporting his son’s college journey and future career.
